My daughter just started in September after being on the waiting list for a while. I cannot tell you how happy she is and how warm and welcoming the staff are at Little Cakes. She settled in almost immediately and comes home with so many stories about her day. She loves the forest walks, songs and crafts especially and her recognition of numbers and letters has improved greatly. I could not recommend this nursery highly enough and appreciate all the staff and how well they look after my little girl.

Little Cakes is a wonderful nursery and pre-school. The staff are so caring and provide so many opportunities for children to grow in confidence, prepare for school and have fun - lots of trips outside to explore the local area and community. My children come home happy and curious about the world!

Really lovely nursery with amazing staff and great facilities! My child has been going for a few months now and absolutely loves it. The children have access to the grounds of the estate nearby and has ample outdoor space to play in.

Little Cakes Montessori is a nurturing and caring environment perfect for children to thrive in. All the teachers and staff are extremely helpful and our little boy is very happy here.

Wonderful nursery and amazing team here that has been looking after my child incredibly well for the last two years. They have been all very knowledgeable, caring and very supportive during every stages of my child's development. They plan lots of activities with and for children, encouraging participation from parents as well. Very quickly, the staff built the trust that I was very confident that kids grow and develop in a safe and comfortable environment in this nursery. The surroundings are beautiful as well. In addition to well-designed outdoor play area, the Chorleywood Estate gives unbelievable access to different animals, long walks, free play area in the nature. Lots of places to park your car too, which sometimes becomes an important thing to consider during busy drop off and pick up times. Overall, lovely community feel - highly recommend!

My twin daughters have been here for 9 months now and joined when they were 1. The nursery setting is within the lovely ground of Chorleywood Estate. The older children regularly go for walks. There is a great outdoor play area for the children which they go every day. My girls absolutely love coming here and love their wonderful key worker Mrs Shah. The staff are very nurturing and experienced, has a very family feel to the place. I really like the daily updates from the blossoms app of how their day has been. The nursery offers term time dates.

Our journey at LC started in 2019 with our eldest (now 5) and has continued to our 2 year old currently there. We have found it to be a caring, nurturing, exciting place for them. Both girls settled well - we have found the teachers to be extremely caring making it a home from home for them (the eldest still likes to pop in and say hello!). It set our eldest up for school - even as an august birthday she is doing really well - I know LC helped immensely - even in the small things like making friends, and working together. I always recommend the nursery to anyone and everyone. Thank you!

We viewed all the local nurseries in the area and knew that Little Cakes was the one for our child. They made sure to settle them in quickly and now they happily run in each morning and enjoy their time with their key worker. I have recommended it to family and friends when looking for child care. Whilst they have a great daily routine activities, outings and meals are varied and you can tell the staff enjoy their working environment. They are all a pleasure to deal with.

A massive thank you to Alpa & her team. We’ve experienced 3 different nurseries within the area through our daughters & this is by far, the best nursery we’ve encountered. Throughout the time our twin daughters’ were at Little Cakes, Alpa’s communication during challenging periods (CV-19 pandemic, summer heat stroke etc) was proactive and in the best interests of the children at the nursery at all times. Alpa has done an amazing job in setting up a nursery with a natural, loving environment for the children but also allowing them to grow independently. We wish Alpa & her team all the best for their future endeavours.

Little Cakes is an amazing pre-school setting. Both of my children thrived here as they were supported with a great selection of outdoor and indoor activities. It’s such a beautiful, unique setting in the Chorleywood House grounds and the team really take advantage of the location with nature walks, tennis lessons, visiting the alpacas and playing under the trees. Both of my children also loved gaining independence at Little Cakes and learning new practical skills which the Montessori teaching promotes. It’s friendly and welcoming and, most importantly, the staff are very caring and nurturing. I highly recommend - 5/5 stars!
